Since I was kindly invited to join the Sunset group recently, I thought I would publish the following two images in an article- they had previously been published, as images only, to some other groups.
The setting is on the back porch, while enjoying the outdoor seating at a restaurant on Peaks Island. The island is off Portland, Maine, in Casco Bay, and is accessible by car ferry.
Along with my wife's brother and sister, and their families, we rented a house on Peaks Island for 5 or 6 days, and were able to use that as a base to do a lot of walking and cycling, some basic sea kayaking, and sailing around the bay on a beautiful ship based in Portland. We had a total of six adults and six kids on the trip. The corner ice cream shop was everyone's favorite destination.
It is an easy drive from Boston to the ferry in Portland.

Charli: Those are great words to live by. I used to be much more of an outdoors type than I am now, but I do love it when I can get away.
