Summer Fashion Predictions

Shoes that make a statement- Whether they're wedges, bright shoes, chunky heels, whatever, be looking for shoes that make a statement this season! Once again, bag designers have been in the spotlight the past few months, and the shoe designers are NOT happy.... so look for shoes that are out there and funky (cool funky, not "I-forgot-to-wash-my-gym-socks funky)!

All-over celestial prints and star accessories- Think moons, but mostly stars. Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Anna Sui, Gucci, and Pucci all have stars in their collections now, and I predict this is going to be a big style come summer.

Pajamas- Think lots of silk and lace, made wearable for daytime.

Full, flared skirts- Really cute with a fitted top!

Checks- This print will be super-hot again come summer!

Silk scarf- The most versatile accessory.

Skinny belt- Ah, it has returned. You can wear this with a shirt tucked into cute trousers, and the belt through the loops, or you could wear a longer shirt with the belt around the waist, or skip the long shirt altogether and pair it with a dress.

Flares- Oh yes, they're back. And not just in jeans! Look for flared trousers to start growing in popularity.

Sulphur yellow and Lipstick pink- Together or separate, these two colours are hot for summer!

Hats- All sorts of styles are going to be popular this summer, so look for more detail about the hats to buy to shade that pretty face from sunlight in the next few months!

Tuxedo jackets- These masculine styles are starting to soften for feminine sex-appeal, and are going to be a rising trend over the next couple of seasons, reaching a peak this summer, and I predict continuing into fall.
