As the Gather Guide team is currently in transition. The AidStation articles are on hold. I will be posting the Help Forum article everyday until the new team of guides are ready to start.

I have received many questions/concerns/issues relating to the recent Gather updates. So Far I have let support know about the following:
1. The "Related Articles" and "More By" features are creating problems for many members. I have also asked whether it would be possible for members to opt out of it if preferred.
2. A lot of us are having problems with publishing, commenting, uploading pictures & videos and formatting our articles.
3. Gather keeps logging some members out after a few minutes at a time.
4. The "most discussed" tab for the articles is showing articles posted a long time ago, going back as early as 2005. This is perhaps a side effect of the new tagging system that works out the related links.
Once I hear from Support about the above, I will post a comment and let you know.

You can also join the group Building a Better Gather and post your ideas/opinions/concerns there. Team Gather checks this group on a regular basis and takes member feedback on board.
Some members have asked about the Tax Form:
I have asked Gather about this. The 1099 forms were posted out to members on 25 January 2007 and should be received by the end of the week or early next week. Only members who earned more than $600 from Gather in 2007 will receive the form.

However, I have not received the Ipod I won during the Code Orange contest although other people have received their prizes won at the same time. I'll give that one a few more weeks and then send an email to Gather.
Faiththanks for letting everyone know. I did get quite a few questions about the tax form.. wow! I didn't even know that you won an IPOD! That's exciting huh? Have you asked Gather about yours yet?
Faith I got my tax form and my sweatshirt I won. The shirt took a long time but they kept me informed. Hopefully you will get your Ipod soon.

I had a talk to Gather this morning and the support team are currently working on resolving the matters with the glitches. They are also really glad to have received all our feedbacks on the Related Articles and more of links and are working on figuring something out that will resolve a lot of the current issues. I am expecting to hear back from the support team later this afternoon and will post another comment when I get some information to share with you all.
I won the Ipod during the Code Orange contest and was really surprised myself! I actually just got it this evening from UPS. I'm so excited!

Since Luna was keeping you up to date on the current site glitches, I wanted to tell you that Jim Bostick left an interesting comment on his recent article about the 'related articles' feature.
He explains some changes Gather will be making to the layout to improve the appearance and functionality.
