I am going on my first vacation in 5 years! We are going to Ireland, England, and on a Danube cruise that starts in Holland- leaving in April. We will be gone for about 6 weeks, and it will be the third birthay I've had over there! I am really excited, but a little worried. I have CFS and am so afraid I will get super exhausted right away, but I love British history and can't wait to see all the sites...and I know I'll have tons of photos to post here on gather when I get back!
Anyway....anyone have any tips on places to go, things to see??? Any interesting little known places, etc? And for those who also have CFS/Fibromyalgia, please any tips???

I found if I picked out the most important things that I wanted to do it would be the best. I did this every single day and I made sure that a had some days when I rested.
With regards to going to museums I picked out the pieces I wanted to see the most and spent much time sitting on benches in front of them.
Depending on how long you've got in the UK, you could try to get down to the West Country, Devon/Somerset and Cornwall. London could take up two weeks of a visit, just to see all the major historical sites, like Buck House, Westminster, Tower of London - as well as less well known places like Ken House on Hampstead Heath.
Leamington Spa/Warwick is a great area for castles and other outstanding historic houses.
The Lake District, Sussex (sites include Battle Abbey), Cumbria, Northumberland. Just too many to name.
If you have any specific questions about an area, I'd be glad to try to help.

While in Ireland try to include the Giant's Causeway, I believe these are amazing and it should be do able as Ireland is just a bit larger then West Virginia.
Blessings
