What a day, what a day! It's never boring with four kids, let me tell ya. And to make life more interesting I'm a stay-at-home mom with just about zero domestic skills. I'm not really sure how I became a stay-at-home mom in the first place. No, no. I know how I got pregnant! Come on now. With four kids under the age of five, I've become quite proficient when it comes to the act of baby-making. In fact, if I didn't currently have the morals that I do, I would take my talents to the professional arena. As it is though, I am a stay-at-home mamma without a home-making bone in my body. I'd never planned on being in this predicament, you see. I'd planned a career in business and skipped learning to cook, sew, clean, you know, the homey things, to pursue studying. I'm an undercover nerd (although I'll never admit that out loud do don't even ask)! Not that that's a bad thing, but now I've got babies and I have no desire to have someone else raise them. So the job is on my shoulders. Not only am I unprepared, I'm totally uninterested in the domestic arts. So I've taken an inventory of my skills, just to see how I fare. Results: not good, pretty dang bad, in fact!
Cooking: HATE it! My cooking consists of whatever the store has in their freezer section when I go grocery shopping (which, by the way, I hate to do as well).
Cleaning: Don't even get me started. I definitely need a housekeeper! Or maybe five housekeepers!
Sewing: HAHA! I take my seat at the sewing machine and prepare the children with earplugs. Within fifteen minutes I've got a line of symbols streaming from my mouth. @%&$!!!
Laundry: We all know how well I do laundry. That crap is the reason I'm now gimpy.
Mornings: I should definitely get a plus on this one. I'm up by 10 am everyday! Ten points for Keva!
Ok…..that's all I can think of right now. Oh, I'm sure Bailey-Gates could list plenty more, but we don't need to hear from him on this subject. That'll just get him cut off. Tell me some of the domestic things you suck at. Please don't tell me I'm the only crappy housewife out there! HEHEHE!

My Mom used to say to make something you didn't like a game. So my kids and I "played" at housekeeping. We made up games as we went and did it together. It wasn't so bad. I had to learn everything from scratch, too.
