I guess I am dumb, because I accept Global warming as science. Mainstream??? I do not know. I know the folk/scientists up at the U-Alaska I visited certainly considered it so.

Did anybody see the NASA scientist -- the whistleblower -- who was interviewed by 60 Minutes and said Global warming was legit and that the Bush Administration has advised them to shut up about it.

I saw something on PBS a week or so ago. There was an interview with a scientist whose job it was to write about global warming and how it is affecting the Earth. It was sent to the White House where it was edited and where many of the scientist's facts were deleted or edited so that global warming did not appear as bad as it really is.

Apparently, nothing can be published about global warming before it goes to the white house where a businessman, not another scientist, edits it.

Yes, it is cold in NY during the winter but when I was younger the temperature during January was almost always in the teens or twenties, many times lower. The last few years the winter temps have been much higher. So much higher that all of a sudden the weather reports are calling temps in the thirties as "frigid." I remember what bitter cold was and it is far lower than 25 or 30 degrees.

Maybe the weather reporters are too young to know what real frigid weather is.

There are those who would argue that the climate is cyclical, and the climate will actually warm up and then cool off again. A good volcanic eruption would actually put us back into another mini ice age... (seriously)

There is certainly far too much evidence supporting Global Warming to discount that. As to Rapture? I do have my doubts, and if they are coming for this sinner, well, I am eating all the chocolate I can get my hands on first!!!

It's amazing that almost every night there is something on the news about global warming. Just tonight, NBC did a story during Brian Williams newscast. But there are still those that call it a hoax.
