Im looking for ideas on what to do with plastic bottles. So Im thinking they may just make some cool bird feeders we did it once as a girl scout project. I offer a challange, Its only for braging rights but if you love birds and feeding them then it might be fun. For the month of Febuary I'll be looking for articles to feature in
FEATHERS that show how to make a feeder using a soda bottle, water bottle or even 2 liter plastic bottles and milk jugs. For this challange only I will accepts photos as articles showing this type of feeders so if you have photos of any from the past please post them.
Come on, give it a try and help to keep some of that plastic out of land fills.
Im also wondering has anyone made a peanut feeder yet? if so please post it.
I'm on some now, and could really use some ideas

I always wanted to make a bird feeder according to plans that I have in my head for one. Maybe one day I'll get a hold of a saw and make it up. :)
I will be making my own Suet with Gideon's help. I would have done it already but silly me I forgot to get the ingredient list so I could buy the stuff. Whoops! LOL
As for the Coke caps/codes I donate them to Toys for Tots, they collect them from Coke and had out all kinds of stuff, I believe Coke changes them into cash for the kids, on the web site there's like down loads of songs, Ipods, t-shirts, I have no interest in any of this stuff so I just collect for the kids because I figure, if they go in the trash or for recycle pick up, then someone's not using them, plus I don't have to buy extra to get the points, I drink coke, just not fast enough. I have one friend that's a store manager and he's saving them for me when he fills his cooler which helps too.
If I find a pic of the bottle feeder, I'll send it along.
