Art Journal Cover

In preparation for our February Art Journal Projects, and in collaboration with Artistic Therapy and Mini-Moments Therapy Gather Groups, here are more excellent examples of Art Journals. . .
Above is a Collage-Style Cover for your "ART Masterpiece Creation Journal" (if you are in the Artistic Minds® Gather Group); and this sample can also be used for your "Therapeutic ART Masterpiece Insight Journal" (if you are in the Artistic Therapy Gather Group).
Like Mini-Moments Therapy Gather Group members (who are open to participate in both creative art journal projects), all Gather Group members involved in this collaborative/partnership art project are welcome to do both type Art Journals:
1) "ART Masterpiece Creation Journal"
2) "Therapeutic ART Masterpiece Insight Journal"
While both of these Art Journal Projects are worth participating in, understand that one focuses on the ARTISTIC CREATION in terms of the visual aspects of the art assembled and created by YOU, the artist; and the other focuses more on the THERAPEUTIC aspects of the Art Journal Project with more emphasis on the corresponding writing by YOU, the artistic writer, to bring further insight into the Masterpiece that is created. The participating creative artists, will no doubt come away from this Art Journal Project with a new concept of the "Art Journal" ~ which becomes more personal and valuable because there is a development that occurs . . . underlining the creative scope of the Art Journal, the artist gains an understanding of the therapeutic value of the art journal project in and of itself, because the artist gains more insight into "self" in the process.

Hi Susan ~ The information is in all three gather groups -- Artistic Minds, Artistic Therapy and Mini Moments Therapy. I'll do a recap though -- and label each message relating to the Art Projects from here on as "ART JOURNAL COLLABORATIVE PROJECT" so that they will be easier to find in each Group. With all the messages coming through, they get buried (but that's a good thing -- LOTS GOING ON! ~ smile). Since this Art Journal Collaborative Project will be going on all month, I'm glad you asked the question now --because I was just sorting through all the posts to find all the pieces to this Project thinking that I'll have to make the Art Project easier to find. It takes work to find the pieces even on my personal gather page -- (laughing), but, not to worry -- I can email recaps to all participating Groups.
But, basically, the two Therapy Groups are working on the "Therapeutic ART Masterpiece Insight Journal"; and the Artistic Minds® Group is working on the "ART Masterpiece Creation Journal".
The Therapeutic Art Journal focuses more on the "therapeutic" process -- with "writing" as a key element of the Art Project; while the "Creative" Art Journal is geared towards the "visual aspects" -- with "style" as a key element of the Art Project.
All members can opt to work on both Art Journal Projects if they so desire -- because doing both, with FOCUS, will bring about a different effect and a different personal result.
The Writers of the groups will enjoy the "Therapeutic" Art Journal Project, as it focuses on "writing" ~ "feeling" ~ "sensing" . . . and the process enhances the Writer's thinking process; while at the same time, the writer automatically and naturally, will pull forth the visuals to support the literary aspect. A merging of the two talents appears ~ "literary" and "artistic". This is where the gift of the Author/Journalist/Writer and the Visual Artist/Mixed-Media Artist/Creative comes forth.
Much more coming forth Susan ~ Thank you for keeping me focused on the details of this Art Project. (smile).
Holly ~ Thanks for passing forth the inspiration note. Glad you're inspired!
Blessings everyone ~
Rene A.
Susan ~ I'm glad you asked.
As we all know, your Poetic Wonders will be a huge focal point for your Art Journal.
I can't wait to SEE yours!
Blessings ~
