I Won!

Gather has been good to me these past two weeks, I've gotten two books from them!

Last week I got the book Do Not Open!  I was planning on giving it away, but it's such a cool book that I think that I'll keep it for when Little Miss gets a little older.  With the great set-up of it, you can read a lot of info or just a little info on each page, so it should work for a large variety of ages.  Plus all of the bold graphics will keep her attention I'm sure.  The neat thing about it is that it's not a book that you have to read front to back, which is ideal for children when their attention spans aren't developed yet.

 Yesterday I got the book THe Sky Isn't Visible From Here.  This book sounds so good!  I wanted to start reading it right away, but as luck would have it I had just picked up a book from the library that I had been on a waiting list for, so I'm going to read it real quick before I start on this book.  Plan on getting a review on it in the next couple of weeks though!
