Brown Day: Kansas is now in Oklahoma

The winds are sweeping down the plains today. The sky is brown.   The winds are blowing at 40-50 mph.  I went to my daughter's to baby sit, and got blown back into my car. It took me three times before I could get out.  The dirt gets into your teeth,  and doors blow open inside the house.  My grandson's wooden and massive swing set gym blew over.  Okay?  I'm ready for Thursday.  Why Thursday.   It will be a white day. It's going to snow.   How are you doing where you are?

South Florida - it is supposed to be 70 outside, very little wind, my inside temp is 70. No air conditioner ...yet

We had some of that wind here yesterday. We had blizzard conditions and our highway was closed for a while. Visibility was horrible!

Today, it's windy, but not nearly as bad as it was yesterday. We are still having gusts up to 40 miles per hour, though. And the temperature is -21 with a windchill of -52.

Well at 8 am it was 42 degrees and just wet out(lots of melting going on). Then it started to rain, even wetter. Then when I was going out to go to the gym, I just about fell on my tuckus(black ice) and there was a freezing mist. I decided to stay home. Now it is snowing and very windy, 25-35 mph winds. Since 8 AM the temp has dropped to 18 degrees. Where is this going....straight down to -3 tonight.

It dropped from 45 in Iowa yesterday to -45 wind chills and a blizzard warning today. I can relate! Hope the wind stops soon!

We're in the mid teens with strong winds and snow. Yesterday it was in the 60s!

All the roads were frozen this morning when I went to work and it's cold but not too bad. I know how you feel with the wind, some of the flatter areas here get it real bad. I hate days when the wind is blowing like that.

It was 60 this morning, 38 this afternoon, now it is 20 and snowing, how about that Missouri weather?

oh yeah, and the wind is gusting at about 30-40 mph, and they have wind advisories out for up to 60 mph, and rainstorms, possible hail......just spin that nature wheel!!!

about 44 degrees here, raining, supposed to go down to 14 degrees tonight and snow. Yuck on the snow.. About all the snow we had is gone, melted by the 44 degree day and the rain we had last night and are getting now.. My snow men are getting batter by the rain. Boo hoo! Weather is sure screwy.

That's just wild Carol. Must be quite a site and unnerving to say the least. It was nice here today, sunny and a cool breeze. I think it was in the sixties.

If Kansas is in Oklahoma has Missouri been blown into Arkansas? We had the same front come through here, went from 55 degrees to twenty in less than an hour, got snow this afternoon.

I hear what you're saying. Oklahoma blew into Texas this morning. The sky was as brown as the earth, which come to think of it was what was in the sky. They're forecasting more of the same for tomorrow.
