Hi all -
I just want to make sure you know about a fun event taking place at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul on Sunday, February 3rd at 2pm. This is a family friendly event, so kids are welcome!
Author Gregory Maguire (Wicked, Son of a Witch) will read from his latest book "What-the-Dickens: the story of a rogue tooth fairy." I'll be joining him on stage as host, and we'll chat about the new book - so if you have any questions for him - let me know!
Also we'll be joined by local band The Owls, who were named best Twin Cities band of the year by City Pages. They'll be playing music from their latest album, and I think you'll find it's a great accompaniment to Gregory's writing.
Gregory Maguire has a very warm and friendly personality, and I'm looking forward to hearing him talk about how he gets and develops his ideas, as well as his advice for young aspiring writers.
