I didn't know Paris Hilton sang. The first thing that came to my mind, even before I read the comment was also Tiptoe Through the Tulips by Tiny Tim. I think that was the
whole idea when he sang it.

Yes, I have to agree, "Tip-Toe Through the Tulips" by Tiny Tim in the 60s is probably right up there in the Top Ten Most Horrible Songs. I actually MET this guy and his then-wife who, if any of you Boomers remember, married him on the Ed Sullivan Show (what a JOKE!!!) at a performance at the 1896 House in Downingtown, PA, where I worked at the time. He signed his autograph on something of mine, and I remember looking over at his wife who looked incredibly bored and was probably wondering what the hay she had done in marrying this kook!!! He was one very weird dude, I'll tell you!

I agree with Kathy E. I don't ever need to hear Celine Dion's theme from Titanic again for the rest of my life. Also: Stacy Q's "Two of Hearts," Modern English's "Melt with You," Simple Minds "Don't You (Forget About Me)," and Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon."

Most importantly, the world is a better place without every song from the Jacksons' Victory record.

Let's see, everything played on Lite Rock stations for a start. The entire Smooth Jazz genre. The modern country music that sounds just like Lite Rock. I could go on...

Wow, I can think of a lot of worse songs than most of the ones named here. Probably half of the songs played on current top 40 are worse, for example. The songs that are being named are mostly just very simple, easily learned melodies that lodge in the head. That doesn't make them bad, or twinkle twinkle little star (written by Mozart) is a horrible song, too. Most pop songs have trite lyrics--oh well, young love is pretty much all written out, so anything anyone writes about in in the last century or two will be trite. Even a great song can become a nightmare if listened to a hundred times in a week.

That said, I'll agree that "wildfire" was a really bad song.
