Hands down, it's "She Loves You" by the BEATLES!!! Nothing gets me more zipped than hearing that song!! It's so totally in-your-face, excitement, exhuberant love song!!!!

Okay, then in God's realm, I love the Halleluia Chorus above all things! It was so definitely inspired by God when it was composed by Handel. It moves me so deeply, that sometimes I can't even more. I was privileged to sing it in a Sweet Adelines chorus for a number of Christmas performances, and it was total elation to sing something so holy and grand as that!

One more! (Humor me, please...) In the classical arena, my favorite piece of all time is "Capriccio Espagnol" by Rimsky-Korsakov. I'll tell you, the Russians really have a lot of pent up emotions that they express in their music; I love them all, but this is my absolute favorite.

Unfortunately, I can't pick just one... there are so many great songs. But I can tell you why I like such songs, like Power of Celtic. I am synaesthetic, which is a condition where the brain misinterprets stimuli, confusing the senses. So certain types of songs make me feel great, and others make me feel bad.

It's hard to imagine there will ever be a more important song to me personally than Melody's Song. I wrote it when we were expecting a baby in 1993 without even knowing if we were having a boy or a girl. It is the essential metaphor of my life, and she has indeed worn the name well.
