The same can't be said for Olberman whose show consists of nothing but Keith, a teleprompter and countless well vetted guests who are only allowed on after they have sworn a blood oath not to disagree with anything Olberman says. The guy is a friggin joke!

So Rude, it looks like Franken tried to steal the Fox Network's trademark saying, and then he used O'Reilly's image to sell his little book. Those were the issues to the case. Truth about any issue, or Franken's lack of it, had nothing to do with the lawsuit.
Like the guy who was a geek in Catholic grade school who eventually became rich and famous by his 20th class reunion, O'Reilly has had his metamorphosis. Olbermann, however, is still going through a very rough and ugly puberty.

Kevin, the judge in the case ruled that Fox had no right to claim the term "fair and balanced" as their own. Is that really a win for Al Franken? He had to take Bill O'Reilly's unauthorized picture off his cover. I bet that cost him plenty of sales alone.....LOL.

I really wish I could speak authoritatively about Fox News with you. Sorry, but I can't. I only see Fox when I visit friends and the TV happens to be on. The little that I've seen is so refreshing and different that it really does command your attention. I'm sure that really irks you sheeple on the Left. I don't think I've heard of either of them reporting falsely. I've only heard one reporting things from the angry Leftist point of view, while the other reports in the entertaining manner that aggravates Leftists.
Bret and some others here on Gather of that ilk, have actually admitted more than once that their main enjoyment with Gather is "pissing people off". If they actually knew what little power they really have to do that, they would probably slink off in self-shame ... the only reason they persist is because they have so deluded themselves.
My building does not get the Fox signal here in Chicago, so I can't argue specific points with you about O'Reilly. Sorry - I'd love to do it, but I can't.
However, I watch Olbermann's little hate-fest every single night. Why does he get so angry and venomous about O'Reilly? Does he envy his high ratings? If yes, then why doesn't he emulate O'Reilly?
Why does he have a segment about something O'Reilly said on-air, every night? Its an obvious obsession with Olbermann to attempt to kick up mud on anything about O'Reilly. Olbermann is such a rage-a-holic over O'Reilly, and you can see it every night. I have to admit - I enjoy watching that little vein on the left side of Olbermann's head stand up when he's enraged each night. One of these days that little vein will pop if he doesn't get some medical (and possibly psychological) help.
The Left is wrong and most of the country knows it.

However, I watch Olbermann's hate filled crazy rants nightly. I think that anger is what makes Lefties so unpopular with the general public. The country has been moving right of Center for obvious reasons, since Reagan. The proof is that Billy-Bob has been the only deviation from the country's long shift Right, since 1980.
The continuing proof is the unpopularity and repudiation of all the Leftist Democratic Presidential candidates ever since 1980 : Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, Kerry.................and now Edwards and Kucinich in the latest Democratic contest. You Lefties have nowhere to go.
