Did You Know About These AAA Benefits?

We have been AAA members for many years. When my daughter moved off campus into an apartment in Northern Virginia (we live in Richmond) we added her so we didn't need to worry about her being stranded somewhere, etc.

We have been very grateful for our AAA membership on several occasions over the years. When we went through a time without health insurance we were grateful to take advantage of their discount drug program -- a little known benefit that I just happened to read in their monthly magazine! I had been tossing the AAA monthly magazines in the trash, honestly, but I had a few minutes one day and flipped through the current issue. My eyes were drawn to the small box that reminded members about the discount drug program! I read - and we experienced an average of 35% discount on generic prescriptions and an average of 15% on brand-name prescriptions. It was a real lifesaver for us as our family combined has three on-going prescriptions.

In this month's issue I noticed a newly introduced discount AAA member can take advantage of: Linens 'N  Things has joined AAA's Show Your Card and Save program. AAA members have 2 savings options available: 10% discount on total purchase or $10 discount on purchases of $50 or more. The options may not be combined.

You'll be able to navigate the site very easily from there. Click on the "discounts" tab and a list similar to the one above will be generated. It's pretty self-explanatory.
