JoAnne -- I do not believe that you will receive a 1099 form from Gather unless you have accrued $600.00USD or more in the 2007 calendar year. This would include the sum of all cash, gift cards, and prizes received (based upon the ARV of the prize - Approximate Retail Value). However, depending upon the contest you entered (assuming that you won something), the ARV of the prize may not be Gather's responsibility to report to the IRS).
Priscilla - Invitations to join the cash option typically are sent out within 2 to 3 weeks following the end of the month in which you qualified. As it nears the end of the next month and you haven't heard something, I would suggest sending an email to Member Support at support@gather.com, and ask for a status.
