What are you doing Superbowl Sunday?

Are you watching the big game at home or with friends? Are you going shopping instead? Or maybe you will be on here on Gather while the Superbowl is going on. I am going to be at work...sigh.

I thought I would share some of these pictures so you can see where the big game is going to be held. Post your thoughts about the big game and what you plan to be doing that day.

 

 This is the University of Phoenix stadium in Glendale Az where the Superbowl is going to be held on 2/03/2008.

 These pictures are not as clear as they could be because I took them through my car window.

 

 

 

There are tents set up around much of the stadium. Some are for the NFL Experience and some are most likely for game day events.

This is the best shot I could get of the banner without parking somewhere far away.

I'll be at my parent's house celebrating my brother's birthday. The game will probably be on in the background.

I wish I had the money, I'd have run down to a ticket agency I know of in Tempe to get tickets if I could. I don't care much for the teams in it, but would like to go to a Superbowl one day, and this one may be the only easy one to do for quite some time, ha ha. When I was a kid, I always wanted to go to a World Series Game no matter the teams, and thankfully the Diamondbacks gave me the opportunity! It was great to just be there, a part of it all. Not to mention a home-team that won!

It's usually the busiest day of the year for pizza delivery (yes even beats New Years eve and day!). So I will be working, delivering pizza. I don't actually care who plays in these games, but I think it would be cool for the Pats to finish undefeated.

No, I have not been in the football stadium yet. I have been in the hockey arena next door. I have been to two American Idol concerts there. There are more shops and restaurants opening up as the development grows.

We're having a small party with our fiends, but it's more just an excuse to get together. We really could care less about the outcome of the game.

The inside is really incredible. One of these days I will post a couple of pictures. I know that each level is supposed to have artwork that relates to every level of environment in Arizona but I didn't actually see too much of that and what is there has fencing in front of it. I've also only been on one level. It would be fun to go inside and take pictures when there isn't anything going on.

hubby and I will probably be playing on our laptops while watching the commercials in between the football game! LOL we are curious as to who wins but neither of the teams playing is one of our faves so we don't care too much about it!
