This recipe was included with the
Angel Food groceries we picked up this morning. The pork road and dry pinto beans were part of our order this month.Makes: 7 servings; Prep time: 20 minutes
Slow Cook: 225 for 5-6 hours (or on low setting)
1 1.5 lb pork roast1 16 oz pkg dry pinto beans
2 TBS chili powder
1 TBS oregano
1 clove garlic, crushed; or 1 TBS garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
2 TBS taco sauce
1 TBS cumin seed
Place roast in slow cooker 225 deg. Or on low
Add the rest of the ingredients and cover with water
Cook 5-6 hours
Serve over tortilla chips with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, diced onions and shredded cheese.
