Heather W. needs to be lifted up in prayer right now. Michelle B. has requested our prayers for her parents. Also, Elsie's youngest brother has passed on, so please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. The gentleman about whom I wrote this still needs to be remembered as well. And there were a few prayer needs mentioned in this chat.
Today's Bible verses were chosen for Heather:
Jeremiah 17:14 (Whole Chapter)
Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
Matthew 18:19 (Whole Chapter)
Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
We stand on these verses for the healing of our dear sister.
We begin our permanent prayer requests with prayers for our troops, governments and leaders around the world WHETHER WE LIKE OR BELIEVE IN THEM OR NOT. It is right and proper to pray for them to be safe, enlightened and wise... as well as to pray for their souls. Also pray for our countries and their people: all of them, born and unborn.
Pray, too, for an end to ALL violence: true peace. REAL civilization. For as long as the barbarism of any killing is still tolerated, no man can truly rest assured. If we were to stop killing and focus on LIFE we could likely put an end to nearly all disease as well as explore the furthest reaches of the universe. We limit ourselves by our limiting beliefs. Instead of diminishing our numbers through slaughter we should be seeking extraterrestrial colonization possibilities. Yet if we do not curb our thirst for blood those exploits would also soon be doomed to extinction as well. Read Isaiah 65.
I found some of the prayer requests here on gather that have not yet been added to the chain today: you can help, if you are less harried than I, by searching for and adding these yourselves throughout each day. If you have a prayer chain or list, I would be honored if you'd link to this one. Please don't forget Heather's daily prayer list! She gives us a beautiful prayer each day.
Please also continue to lift up in prayer all those from previous links. Even those whose prayers may have been answered... and ESPECIALLY gather members who have been missing for a while. Don't forget pray for each other as well... Including those who don't request prayer but may nonetheless need it.
The lastest requests I receive via email etc. will be added at the TOP of the article as I receive them, until the next daily link is posted. The Praise Reports will be published monthly for the time being, until I start getting more of them.
The previous links of the prayer chain are all still valid, as are the links spidering off from them. Here is the directory table of those links:

It's comforting to know people are praying for you
When you have an ailment inside of you,
It's a comfort to know their prayers are going to God,
To help you through a sickness on earth's sod,
Praying is powerful and prayers do work,
Prayers can be said anywhere inside or outside church,
In your house, or in a car, or in a store,
Prayers are powerful, that is for sure,
Take comfort in praying for your family and friends,
And for people you don't know too, Amen,
Prayers are powerful, God hears them all,
Saying your prayers is good for your soul.
Anne, your poem is lovely.
