The Mississippi at Alton

This morning I had lunch with Mom & Dad at the Argosy Casino in Alton, then went out into the cold, looking for Eagles.

I only found one.

I did get some good shots of the river.

Great photos!!! Maybe with temps in the teens today, the rest of the eagles found someplace warm to stay. Hubby's off this weekend, I'll ask him if he wants to go up there Sunday.

Good photos of the Eagle. I sometimes miss the snow up there. I was once flying off shore over south Louisiana in a helicopter at 500ft. We flew over an eagle less than a 100 ft. below us. It would have made a wonderful picture.
