In the "City of Big Shoulders," one Mexican band is making a big splash. Chicago's breakout ensemble Sones de Mexico has scored a Grammy nomination for its latest album "Esta Tierra es Tuya" (This Land is Your Land).
With more than 50 instruments at their fingertips – from jawbone to violin – this six-member band is turning out bold, foot-taping tunes that are deeply rooted in Mexican tradition and wildly diverse.
In their new album, they've got Mexico, Bach, Led Zeppelin, and Woody Guthrie cued up.
