Re:online printing for notecards

Has anyone on Gather tried either Cafe Press, Zazzle, or Lulu ( or any other online presses)?

What was your experience about the quality of photographs on notecards or postcards?

Some friends have asked for notecards and postcards, so I'm investigating the possibles........

I've used http://printdirectforless.com/ for rack cards after several other businesses raved about their service and cheap prices. Smooth, easy and painless - plus reasonably priced! Plus they were FAST!
5000 - RACK CARDS 4X9 $315.00 full color both sides very impressive looking (UPS was additional $51)

The art galleries around here use them for the post card opening announcements - great quality print job.

Tonia G. has used Lulu for a beautiful book of her photos which I have. It was lovely, but she's the one to ask about experience with it.

What I wanted was boxes of cards, which these three places offer, not the one image on a postcard, but it's great to know about, just in case ...thanks!

Thank you so much, Odd! My problem is a new Dell computer that got totally wiped, and is limping along doing email. I don't even have Word anymore. I don't have a good printer, either. But, good suggestions, and I thank you!

I used Zazzle for postcards last year and they were very good quality. I often use VistaPrint, but only the ones that are free for shippng and handling. I paid for business cards from them one time, and they made a mistake on the address. They refunded the money, but it took another 3 weeks to get business cards again. ThINKplaza at http://thinkplaza.boomja.com has a section for promotional items that lists loads of company websites for companies that print post cards, notecards, and anything else you can think of.
