When I got the news that Lindy had decided on "FavoriteThings" for this week's theme I was at a loss. I didn't know how I was going to post a picture of my favorite things when I have so many favorites. I have decided that just one picture just won't do and so I will post several in this photo essay. (I apologize for the font change, Gather editor just does what it wants. LOL)
One of my favorite things is definitely my family. Where would I be without them?
My mom, Tanya P, a beautiful person inside and out, has raised my brother and I, mostly on her own and taught us the value of unconditional love. She has always been there for us to support and love us and I'm very proud to be her daughter.

My brother, a very handsome man, I must say, has always been an important part of my life. He and I have shared many happy moments and have been there for each other when we went through some pretty rough times as children.

My brother-in-law, another very handsome man, shares his heart with everyone close to him. He is a very loving and caring individual and has become like a blood brother to me.

My husband, Robert, is definitely one of my favorites. He is always there for me, to love and support me in everything I do. He is an awesome father and husband!

My daughter, a very loving and caring individual, has grown into a beautiful and responsible young woman. She makes her mom and dad VERY proud!

I also consider my animals to be a part of my family and I try to treat them as such, within reason, of course. We used to have a black cat named Darin but he came up missing a few months ago and has not returned. We miss him very much.

We still have our 3 Chinese Pugs and one Mastiff whom we love very much. They are so good at keeping us company in the evenings.
This is Dutchess, our Mastiff that we got from the Tucson Humane Society. She is a wonderful dog.

These are our Chinese Pugs. They are also wonderful dogs and they love to play and are very comical at times. From the left we have Shadow, Cody, and Cheyanne. (Yes, Shadow is the fawn colored one. LOL).

My family is my top favorite thing but I also have other favorite things. My husband and I own 40 acres in Snowflake, Arizona and someday hope to retire there, build a house, and have lots of animals. The name of our property is Moon Rock. We love to go visit whenever we can.

When the weather is bad or we just don't have the money to make the trip to Moon Rock, my husband and I love to go on ATV rides and explore nature and see wildlife. Our ATV rides give us a chance to hang out with friends. I would have to say that this is one of my favorite things to do.

This picture of a red-tailed hawk is one of my favorite pictures of wildlife. It's almost as if he landed in that tree just to pose fora picture. He is one beautiful bird.

So, these are my favorite things. I hope that you all enjoyed my photo essay and I can't wait to see everyone else's favorite things.

I did a list of my favorite things earlier this week. Should put it in a photo essay like you have done, going to go check out that group.
Thanks.
What a wonderful share. I would love to go on a ATV ride. I haven't been on an ATV, ever in my life. LOL! It looks like great fun. I can totally see your relationship to nature and your family in this photo essay. Thanks for sharing. 10 for you.
I'd be hard pressed also to name one favorite thing. I love so many people and things in life.
John: I'm not much of a cat lover either but you are right in that some of them just get to you.
Patrick: Thank you so much. One day you will have to try it and then you will be hooked for life.
Sue: Thank you.
Ness: Thank you. My daughter is like my mother. Actually I am too. So, that makes three of us brats. LOL.
Reena: Thank you so much.
K. Gnash: I like those two as well. The hawk is beautiful isn't it?
Thank you Marianne, Lindy, and Kay.
TR: I am very happy and thankful.
Thank you Sherrie and Anita.
Bobbi: We really are a pretty close family. Thank you.
Tinch, I'm so glad I made you happy.
Maya: Thank you for your kind words.
Christi: Dutchess, the Mastiff, is actually only 141 pounds. Most mastiffs are much bigger than her. She was abused and is much smaller I'm sure from malnutrition and neglect. There are two other mastiffs that go to the same vet as us and they are around 200 pounds. I absolutely love the breed though and will have more if the opportunity presents itself. (Mom, you didn't hear that okay???) LOL.
LOL @ Mom (Tanya P). That's right!!!
I really enjoyed it.
