Zion 5 ..the internet marketer's Yuwie?

If you're not a net marketer, or don't have any interest in social networking or making money online, or any of that kind of thing, then this post will be of no interest to you.. LOL I just wanted to take a minute to let the people who ARE into that sort of thing know about the new happenings at Zion5.

I have written before about Zion5 briefly, but if you don't know what it is, it's a site where networkers and people who need referrals or want to make friends or build downlines for anything online can go to make like-minded friends and tell each other about the kinda stuff they're into..including which programs and sites they're a member of, etc. You can list which websites you're affiliated with, make connections with people and then you are allowed to send them messages, either telling them about what you're promoting, or just chat if ya like. It's geared towards marketing, but it's a social network as well. I have to say, I really like this site. It has been very good for me in terms of finding referrals and being able to tell people about stuff I'm involved with online. It's very easy to naviage and very simple.

Up until now, a lot of people have been kind of confused as to just what Zion5 is about, because it has a very simple interface, no frills or extra stuff, and there's not much there in the way of information as to how to use it effectively. Those who "get it" though, have been really loving it there and using it to their advantage. Today they released a whole new set of upgraded features, including blogs and private messaging, making it easier to communicate with some of Zion5's 6647 (as of the time of this writing) members. Up until now, the only way to be able to communicate with anyone was if you added them to your friend's list, and you can send one message or ad out to all your contacts once a day. With the new features, you can now PM people and get to know them, and the new blogs will make it possible for you to post more information about whatever you're into.. or just blog as you normally would about whatever you feel like sharing.

There's no HTML, so you can't pretty up your profile, and you won't be able to add big, glittery graphics or games, but that's not what Zion is for. It's about networking, for the most part, plain and simple. The most exciting thing is yet to come. This is what will set them up to be in competition with Yuwie. Details aren't out yet, because it hasn't launched, but today announcements were made that they are getting ready to introduce revenue sharing..which is what Yuwie does..which will allow you to earn money for being a member of Zion5 and your downlines. The revenue sharing program will revolve around your downline. The bigger your downline, the more money you'll earn, and you'll also receive spillover from your upline! which is great for me, since Warren (my referrer) is a power recruiter and that can be beneficial to me..and anyone who joins below me (wink).
