I ask you to forgive me for the many errors as I type it directly without the help of Word and English is not a language I studied properly, as you already know.
In my mind I connected the 2 recent articles about CHANGE by Andrew, with my latest painting ocupation about the four Seasons or more specifically, the 2 Solstices and the 2 Equinoxes.
In the past I was mostly feeling at my ease in the mild seasons of Spring and Autumn. I prefered Autumn because mostly I could concentrate again to sudies and creative work by the beginning of the Season. But after having meditated in length and depth on 'Winter Solstice, because of my latest painting, that I published in gather, unfortunately in a very weak photographic rendering, I discovered things in the depth of Soul that I ignored before.
I sensed very deeply and intensed the idea of CHANGE, of the inevitable change, of that imposed by ANAGHE as ancient Helens used to say. And I discovered the sharpness of the turning point. It is accute but nothing at the end can be really painful, as nothing at the sharp point last for too long. Being a woman that went through the experience of giving natural birth, there is something of that sensation too.
I find magnificent to try to experience these 4 moments of our life on Earth as we move around the Sun. And I found very helpful so many ancient rituals and the contemporary litterature of various study groups, particularly and more intensely through Internet and the books that can be suggested there, to a more conscious, more enlightened observation and experience of the 2 Solstices and the 2 Equinoxes, dramatic points of change yearly on Earth!

Europe has these very dramatic seasons and they play huge roles in people's lives
and even in their philosophies and perhaps even religions.
I have an idea that Stonehenge is really a huge stone calender to make sure that the festivities for the different seasons are kept punctually to the day.
Here in South Africa...what can we do? Summer temperatures may go to 33 deg C and Winter temperatures drop to 18 deg.
So we find our spititual inputs from nature through our trips to the North and visits to places such as rivers, bays, shores, forests and our very spiritually rich bushveld.
I can't tell you how enriching to the soul a trip to the bushveld is.
You write English very well. Where do you come from? I'd like to know.
Thanks for this, sweet Alkistis!
A) my computer does not take much of forums anymore and b) I am working on new paintings and future exhibition arrangements. two of my paintings are 'not for sale' in www.absolutearts.com/alkistis, because they are in the Royal Academy of Arts in London/UK., waiting to enter or not the summer exhibition there. Today I was offered representation from the Gallery Agora in NY/NY and go on with contracts. Also I will submit work in a competition for personal exhibition in the gallery of the Art League Houston/Texas. They are all positive vibes - but perhaps a bit too high tension for my poor heart ...
All the best to all of you and talk to you all later on some time with new news.
Be optimist and everything goes better with everything. Look at the 'Primavera' by Botticelli. I will come back with it later on.
