Add Salt To Your Cleaner For More Grit

If your cleaner doesn't have enough grit to it to do a good job quickly and easily enough, try adding a little table salt to it as you clean! I tried this today on my flat surface stove top, being out of my favorite regular brand, and it worked wonders !

Baking soda works too, especially for items easier to scratch. Always try on an
inconspicuous area first, just in case.

i can't be around oven cleaners so i make my own and no it won't scratch. mix about half cup of baking soda and same for salt now add a little water at a time to make it a little like paste but not too thick. i put it all over the oven and let it sit several hours . just rub a little before wiping out. also good for burnt pots and pans.oh..i sprinkle a little water on it from time to time just to keep it moist. and it is so cheap to buy. i like this site. have a blessed day everyone
