MAKE your library buy that book for you !!!

Most libraries have an easy submission form online at their website.  Or just pick up the phone and ask for a librarian.

 

I won't tell you what book you would ask for, but I will just add that if you go to Amazon you'll see my marvelous reviews for HOLLYWOOD SINNERS.  Don't you think more people need to read novels about poor people trying to make themselves into stars in 1930s Hollywood?  I do.  Every library should have a whole section called "1930s Hollywood" with a few copies of my book laying around to get people's curiosity going (and maybe Day of the Locust, too, just because it's old - but my book is so much better).

Our library never does that for us although they are supposed to and our taxes were raised $200.00 a year for the darn place.

I always ask them to buy books. We have two branches and I alternate so I don't look too greedy. Usually they agree to purchae what I ask or have already ordered it.

I'm going to try it, Peter. Let's see what happens. The only trouble is the our public library has cut back substantially on books because they say people do not read anymore. Instead, they have mainly computers. I nearly had a fit when I went in there the first and saw that. I almost attacked the librarian. But, I shall try. . .

There are about 20 libraries in my city, so usually can find the books I'm looking for. Usually they order in the books I want.

Oh Peter, if you only saw our library....it is terrible....very small. I am used to going to the Chicago Public Library...several floors and true reading bliss. The library in my small Georgia town is pitiful!!! I will just have to go to Amazon and buy your book.
