"Dead to Me." you say?
Think not, for the tie that binds
Called love is unconditional.
Do you not know razor sharp words,
Blame games pour from the lips of insecure men?
Courage in retreat, clamoring for righteousness.
You fail in your own self wrought destruction.
Discontented, distressed and searching
Answers already known, a cowards denial.
For it takes courage to stand before God's mirror
To stare into a heart with honest eyes and
Gaze upon a guilty man.
Reflections of guilt, remorse, stare back at you.
Hinder not the conviction upon your heart.
For mercy, forgiveness, and love await
Your restless, angry soul.
"Dead to Me" you say?
Think not, for the tie that binds
Called love is My resurrection.

This is so beautifully written and shows so much love that you have for this man. LY
Outstanding!!!!
Christine - Only one prayer left for God to hear, I wait, knowing this will happen, in His time.
Deb - Thanks!
Apryl - This poem came straight from my heart, he knows better, but yet continues his way toward both God and I, justifying his actions and words of blame. Its not the first time this has happened, he always returns and I'm trusting God to act upon his hardened heart this time once and for all! Ever heard the expression, "we love our children with unconditional love, but we sometimes don't like them."? This stands true.
And thanks my friend for reading and commenting on my coincidence article. I'll post more of them tomorrow.
Mary - Your sense of perception is correct as it was written in two perspectives. Thanks so much for rereading....((((((hugs)))))))
The resurrection (which you mention) and its power is limitless and irresistable. Our God brings life forth where there previously was none!
Thank you for sharing this part of your life through your riveting poem. There are many prayers that will follow in its wake.

I loved your poem, Lynn.
I hate that you had to suffer.
But a powerful message has surely been born of this trial. I'm certain it will help others who are going through similar things.
It's easy for me to say that God will fix this while I'm not the one going through it.
But be encouraged. Be encouraged. All of the family of God, who know of your pain, are pulling with you.
