Late President John F. Kennedy made many fine speeches containing memorable quotations which are still cited to this day. One of his most often repeated passages is: "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask rather what you can do for your country". Words of wisdom!
Another quotation from a distinguished peronage spoken a century and a half ago states "It is not for him to pride himself who loveth his own country, but rather for him who loveth the whole world. The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens".
More words of wisdom!
