ANOTHER DAY - ANOTHER BEACH

Today we will go to a beach directly on the Gulf - not an inland bay. There are waves here! We had fun playing in them for a while, but even in Florida January is not summer, so after a while it was good to get out and warm up in the sun. The kids went back in later in the day though...

When the waves come in it looks different every time. Sometimes it looks like whipped cream:

Sometimes it is clear and filled with small ripples. I never tire of watching this.

Here is a gull pecking at something. I came closer to have a look -

and the gull abandonded its prey and flew away! I have no idea what it was though...

Look along the beach - a perfect day!

When I took out my camera, all the gulls came to pose for me!

It took a while, and we finally connected the moat to the water's edge - - -

The sun is getting low now - time to pack up everything.
