It has apparently been snowing pretty steadily here

Took Ross about 5 minutes of kicking to locate the morning paper

Ah...finally! Success

The paper needs to be safely in the house...

Now where is he going?

I hear something!

Work to do before breakfast.

And that's why the paper had to be found.

They are pain to read if you use the snowblower first.

Uh yeah....I will supervise from here.

He's doing a fine job

Okay - that's enough.

Breakfast is ready.

THAT is snow LOL

No snow here, just dern cold! 18F and its almost noon. By tundra standards this isn't cold, but to Arkansas residents it is..

We got just a little last night, didn't even cover the ground. But, it is 4 degrees with a windchill of -7. I'm still in my jammies and trying to figure out how to stay inside all day!

Yeah, that's what you call snow. I've had to laugh at all of the southerners getting up in arms about the coating they got. My cousin in NC sent pictures and I had to laugh him right off the internet.

Loved this! I can remember when I lived in Buffalo, sometimes we wouldn't find the paper until the next day. Somehow, the plastic would stick to the cement and it would be very difficult to locate if it wasn't right in our path.

there have been a few days where we just ended up giving up on the paper.. then it gets all chewed up by the snowblower though. Which is what happens to almost every one of the free papers they deliver this time of year too .... they're totally covered within an hour or so of being thrown in the drive... and nobody bothers to go hunt for those.

We got a few snow flakes in SC on Saturday. It didn't stick to the ground it was to wet from the rain before it.

Remember trying to find the paper in the snow when I lived in NY. It was no fun.

Great photo essay. Made me chilly!! It's raining here and was really nice today. The kids and I went to the park. Supposed to be chilly again tomorrow and the rest of the week I think and be back up in the 70s by Sunday and next week.
