Never
Mind the other
Wise words will win at last
Time comes too late to hinder death
Bed soft and welcome warm against the cold
Blooded killer wind weathered down
Turns the sky dark and dim
Wishes on stars
Dying

It falls to me as moderator (resident didact) to point out that the first and last line aren't the same--which is a hallmark of the form. Please don't let that discourage you; as you can see, it is posted with pride, in the group. Since all the other criteria of rictameter are in place, you might want to rectify those lines. On the other hand, this is a fine lyrical poem you might want to leave as is. Either way, I'm a fan.
