Just add Water

[original photo copyright gh 2007] For the Photo Fun Variations on a Theme Group - Still the only way to add animations is in an article. My version replacing the roadway with a stream didn't set so well, so how about I ditch the road (pardon the pun) and just shove it all up against a lakeshore? Scroll down to see the whole animation...

Editing done in Paint Shop Pro 9.01. Sky was 'erased' and then a layer containg a cloudy rainbow was tucked under. The water effect was done as an animation in a post - editing program and finalized in Animation Shop 3.

very cool ...I used to play with animations.... but I have SO little artistic ability that knowing how to do the technical end of things just wasn't enough

LOL, thanks. I decided to do as little editing as possible and retain the majority of the original. Erasing around the tree branches is the biggest hassle and then I took out the power lines and little stuff like that which didn't do a lot for the picture. I'm not 'technical' by any means, I just play around with the stuff and get the effects I want. The trick is to remember WHAT I did, HOW I did it and CAN I do it again.
