Tiger attack victims were high and drunk

Autopsy reports of the San Francisco tiger attack victims have shown that they were both intoxicated and had traces of marijuana in their system. I think by the time this is all over, the fault will be shared. The zoo should have had better containment measures in place, but at the same time those boys put themselves in danger. What a mess!

I often feel sorry for caged animals at the zoo. They had this tiger, a natural hunter and killing machine, and stuck it in this cage for who knows how long. Despite all the people and pampering from the zoo, you can't take the wild out of an animal. This cat was simply acting on it's own nature.

I'm sure there is even more to it, those guys have been lying through their teeth... in my opinion anyway. One thing is for sure, some lawyers are going to make a buck out of it all...

If it is true that they were high and drunk, how did they get the attention of the tiger. Most zoos place the animals in such a situation so as they can be observed rather than have interaction. I sure hop that these men didn't throw anything at the tiger. That is inhuman and suggests that they deserved what happened to them. I wouldn't go that far but there is something fishy about the entire story.

When this first happened, I thought that something isn't right here. The zoo messed up in a small way with the height of the fence. The victims messed up in a much greater way.
The attorney's - well we all know about them. Money hungry greedy..........you fill in the space.
I don't support any containment of wild animals. I don't visit zoos because I don't agree with it.
Leave the animals alone and let them do their natural thing.

Cage a tiger, throw them some idiots, and they'll eat the idiots. Simple enough. Who's to blame - the cagers, the tigers, or the idiots? I would say between the three, there's a bit of social Darwinism going on. The lesson we should take is not to cage tigers, or not go to zoos, but to not be idiots in a zoo. No amount of control makes it a safe place.

This is why I am so pleased with places like Turpentine Creek Wildlife park. They take animals that people have tried to keep as pets, and they have built sanctuaries for them. Huge open spaces for these big cats to run and play and pounce. You should check out their website!
