Need Referrals..?

I know a lot of people here on Gather are into various money-making stuff online.. PTC programs, MLM stuff, etc, so I just wanted to throw something out real quick to let people know about something I've been using that has been working for me in getting referrals for some of my stuff. It's called GetRef, and it's basically a free program you can join to earn referrals for your programs. Unfortunately, they have to be only free programs or programs that have a free option, but it does work to get referrals for traffic exchanges, PTC programs, and anything that is free to join etc.

You can join as a free member and you have to earn credits by joining programs or clicking links to people's programs..or you can just buy them, they're pretty cheap..so that you then can put up your own programs and offer other people credits to join your program under you. I joined and upgraded to Gold member because then you get free referrals and a few other benefits, and I've gotten 17 referrals in less than a month on my first level and 2 on my second level..and I didn't recruit a one of them. I just got a new one as I was writing this post, as a matter of fact LOL. They are all busy joining programs and clicking links, earning me credits to get referrals for my programs. Gotta love that!

it's pretty much a win-win situation, and since you don't have to upgrade or pay anything at all if you don't want to, it's an easy, free way to get some referrals, as long as you don't mind joining more programs to earn your credits. Just be sure to visit the forum before you join any programs to make sure the person you're thinking of joining under isn't on the scammers list. Sadly, some people are a little less than honest..(shocker)..and they offer credits for people to join and then don't credit them for the referral once they do. One of em got me my first day, cuz I didn't go to the forum until after I signed up to join the program.. and that really sucks. Luckily, even if you get scammed by someone, you don't lose anything, and you can always go and cancel your account that you signed up for, so it's not tragic, but it still pisses ya off when it happens.

There are over 2200 programs listed that you can put up to earn credits in once you have enough credits to show your offers..so anything you're into is likely to be listed. Keep in mind that people joining your programs are really only doing it to earn credits to get people to join theirs, so you're taking a gamble on whether they will actually be active or not once they join..so passive programs are the best bet..but you could get lucky and find someone who will join the program you're promoting and actually like it, so they may be active and be worthwhile..you take the same risk on members you refer no matter how you get them. There's never a guarantee they'll be active..but if you are allowed to email your referrals once they join in the program you're promoting, you can always email them to encourage them to be active, etc, which is always a good idea whenever you're allowed to do it anyway. So, that's about it..just wanted to give people a heads-up.
