In silent white, doth blanket deep
the stones and pines in drifting sweeps
scarce patch of grass and oranged needles peek
under sun bright sky so fresh and sweet
it frigidly stings my eyes to weep.
Now where the sounds of birds that cheep
or the rustling of rodents; their snoring in sleep
under sparkilng beauty which makes heart leap
in grandeur of nature that consciousness steeps
assuring the soul My Lord To Keep
in wooded winter while blanketed deep.
