My mission is to reawaken the genius inside of you and to rekindle the light that has been dimmed. I know from experience that you can unlock the vault. Some people would like you to believe that success is rare. Perhaps these are the same people who started the myth that diamonds are rare. Don't fall for either story. In fact, natural diamonds are no more rare than many other gems. Likewise, success is not rare, and it's not a privilege reserved for special or lucky people. The truth is, you are a diamond, and you have the potential for brilliant success. You just have to learn how to release it.
I'm sure you've heard the expression diamond in the rough. According to Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, it means "one having exceptional qualities or potential, but lacking re?nement or polish." When diamonds are mined or found, they actually are very rough.
Looking at them, you might never believe the dazzling beauty that lies within the stone. But after being cut and polished, the radiant gem is revealed. Similarly, the potential for greatness already exists within each of us. Heather Bonham, a science teacher in Buffalo, New York, eloquently expressed it this way in a recent article: "All of us are diamonds. Some of us are still in the intense process of being pressed together and puri?ed by ? re. Others are diamonds in the rough, waiting for the jeweler to polish off our rough edges, transforming our surfaces into brilliant, light-re? ecting facets."

The Book Review
Years ago, (more than 20!) one of my law professors told me that those around you will try to keep you inert, that your movement upward will be threatening to those you leave behind.
It is true that others often try to hold one back...should one break apart and succeed, the others have to face their own choice of mediocrity.
For those who have succeeded but choose to portray the journey as extremely difficult, keeping others from making the journey allows the successful to avoid "sharing" the limelight.
I think there is plenty of limelight to go around, which is why I would always encourage others to "go for it." No journey is to hard when it is of your choosing.
