I'm posting this new one just so it will load faster than the other ones. I appreciate all of the points words you all have been contributing, it'sbeen GREAT.
For those of you who are just coming across this article and have no idea what I'm talking about, then I'll give a quick explanation. I'm talking about a website called "Points & Prizes".
It's FREE, of course, I would never spend time on any points or survey program that I have to pay for. I am a stay at home mom and like to find fun things to do online to earn a few extra bucks, gift cards, and ways to save money in general.

Just take the point word you get from this or one of our partner sites, and enter it into the box on the "claim a word" page. If the word is right, your account will be credited with points! Point words have varying values --some are worth a little, others are worth a lot.
Our prizebox is our virtual store -- but instead of money, you use the freepoints you have earned to purchase items! At the end of each description in the prize box, you will see how many points are needed to buy that item. Items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, someone has posted the whole list on SC today. I know the words are supposed to come out today; so, I guess that's o.k. I don't know. I have a feeling that pretty soon P&P will say forget it and stop having games if people are doing things illegally; know what I mean.
can someone help me... for the words on coloringbookfun... do I have to look at each individual picture to find them or are they on the 'index' of the pictures in that category? I went through about 1/2 of the categories last night but not the individual pictures themselves. I'm wondering if I wasted my time doing that.

there are 50 words on the message boards = 3850 points
That's 9625 right there.
I don't think that any of the other words we find throughout the month qualify for the contest.
They say that there are words in the 'games' but I haven't looked too closely for them. There used to be words on the Photo Zone but they haven't updated that in 6 months. I'm told it's being worked on now.
since it is the same people winning each month they definitely know more about where to find the words than we do!
All of that being said, if P&P wanted to prevent people from using words before they are posted, they should make words have an effective date as well as an expiration date. Considering that it is possible, even though unlikely, to guess words correctly, I don't think there is anything they can justifiably do if words are entered before they are posted.

because the word is part of the address, I wouldn't think that it can be re-used. I'm not an expert so I could very well be wrong.
It's when the addresses don't include the word itself, then they can re-use it.

I would guess that all you have to do is change "back-to-school" to whatever the current contest is.
I still think that there must be some other tricks we don't know about. :-)

Has anyone found hunt words on pregnancyfashion or the other partner sites besides the ones listed above?
If you want to find message board words besides the obvious, do a google search.

I don't understand the google search thing. I put the above one in and found a word I had. Now are you supposed to change the site name for each message board because I did that and nothing came up.
I just double checked my e-mail from p&p and this is her exact wording "Not all of the SheKnows partner sites participate in the Points andPrizes program. Here is a complete list of the sites that do:" then she lists the 15 sites that I copied and posted on Jan 14th. I'm not having luck finding words on them and according to her e-mail last week it was only the message boards that didn't have all of the new words posted.
Does anyone know which partner site these words came from?

I have no words from Pregnancy Fashion (Showing), Making Friends, Celebrity Baby Scoop or Pregnancy-Calendars.
The only word I have from GeoParent is BICEPS 10
the partner sites with no luck. I also used Google Image and typed in pointsandprizes, and that works pretty well also for the message boards.

I have had no luck finding words on pregnancy fashion, celebrity baby scoop or preg calendars.
Chris, the google thing I mentioned above is only for the Sheknows message board.
You click on each link that google found and many of them contain New Year challenge
words. This is just for people who want to know where the message board words are found instead of just going through the numbers 1-50.
ORGANDIE 250 - this expired Jan 2nd but I don't ever recall seeing it on any site I check. It worked for me last night.
ORANGE 25 - apparently it's a word from months ago that still works. It did for me anyway.
FINAGLE 200 - borrowed again, supposed to be from iChef

I don't know that all 15 sites have 5 words. Then there are those three sites that none of us have found any words on, and the 12 main sites there may not be 5 of them on those.
I am not an expert unfortunately.
Basically, I just don't know. I have looked and looked at those three sites and have found no words except the 250 point ones. It would be great if we can confirm whether those 3 sites have hunt words or just the 250 pt words. I believe Jody is asking.....

Keep entering words when you get a chance. I'm at 210,000 and I've already cashed in points for 3 books and 2 DVD's. I started making an effort to enter words last January and I've entered 2677 words. I'm sure there were LOTS more that I missed. This site is one of the most up to date sites I've seen.
On that note... Natalie, where have you been? I miss your posts!

It's a bit addicting.
I'm not going to bother to paraphrase it. "I was originally misinformed. Pregnancy Calendars has only the weekly words and apparently Pregnancy Fashion does not have all of their hunt words up. Celebrity Baby Scoop should have the hunt words, but I have someone looking into this. We are also working on finding out why Pregnancy Fashion doesn't have all of the January hunt words. I am so sorry for the confusion! I just learned of this today. I will get back to you regarding the outcome of Celebrity Baby Scoop."
I'm not wasting my time looking for them until I know they're actually up on the partner sites.
The 4 - 250pt words haven't been fixed yet and I nothing was written in the e-mail as to when they may be fixed.
It's not what I wanted to read but it's a start!
