I inhale deeply

taking in and savoring her scent and fire

I try to etch this feeling in my mind and soul

wanting this moment to last an eternity

 

I have always viewed myself as an independent and strong individual.

Yet I never knew strength until I stared into her eyes in a moment of passion and I never new freedom until I heard her speak my name.
