Renee is requesting that we continue to lift her family up in our prayers.
My 6 year old just told me that her little classmate is in the hospital and very ill.
The Bible passage God set in my heart today is from the book of Isaiah, chapter 60, verses 1-4:
"1Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
2For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
4Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side."
We begin our permanent prayer requests with prayers for our troops, governments and leaders WHETHER WE LIKE OR BELIEVE IN THEM OR NOT. It is right and proper to pray for them to be safe, enlightened and wise... as well as to pray for their souls. Also pray for our countries and their people.
As often as I can, I will find some of the prayer requests here on gather that have not yet been added to the chain: but you can help, if you are less harried than I, by searching for and adding these yourselves. If you have a prayer chain or list, I would be honored if you'd link to this one. Please don't forget Heather's daily prayer list! She gives us a beautiful prayer each day.
Please also continue to lift up in prayer all those from previous links. Even those whose prayers may have been answered... and pray for each other as well. Including those who don't request prayer but may nonetheless need it.
The lastest requests I receive via email etc. will be added at the TOP of the article as I receive them, until the next link is posted. Usually a few days. The Praise Reports will be published monthly for now, more often if I start getting a lot of them.
The first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth links of the prayer chain are all still valid, as are the links spidering off from them. I must change this to a directory table soon, (not sure when!) as the number of links is growing and will continue to do so.

I need prayer to be strong, succeed, lose this weight that is a burden to me and to keep it off once it is gone.
She was admitted to the hospital with a heart problem and spent three days there. She was supposed to take a chemo treament last Friday but being in the hospital she had to miss it. The doctors are afraid that the chemo treatments are having some negative effect on her heart and she might have to forego the chemo. My wife has an appointment with her cardiologist tomorrow and they will be discussing where we go from here.
Please pray for God's will to be done in this matter. I truly believe that God is still the Greatest Healer.
I remember hearing "When you cannot see God's hand, trust His heart". May you feel his presence as you live the human trials. I will continue to pray God's grace on you and your loved ones. Jeanne

It's comforting to know people are praying for you
When you have an ailment inside of you,
It's a comfort to know their prayers are going to God
To help you through a sickness on earth's sod,
Praying is powerful and prayers do work,
Prayers can be said anywhere inside or outside church,
In your house, or in a car, or in a store,
Prayers are powerful, that is for sure,
Take comfort in praying for your family and friends,
And for people you don't know too, Amen,
Prayers are powerful, God hears them all,
Saying our prayers is good for your soul.
There is a long weekend from school, so the kids don't go back until Tuesday. I'll post in the Praise Report for the month when I hear that the little girl has recovered and returned to school.
