Greetings, Gather writers. It's Thursday! I can't wait to read what you have in store for me today. Since it's been a crazy week, I'd like to propose submitting some lively writing. Lively can be bright and happy poetry, prose, nonfiction...any form is fine. Lively can be funny. I LOVE to laugh! Lively can be inspirational.
Now here's what lively is NOT:
Lively is not morose. We know you loved your late Great Aunt Ethel, your deceased 3rd grade piano teacher and your brother's pet salamander. And now they're gone. I agree it's sa
d. It may even be heartwrenching. It is not, however, lively.
If you don't have or feel like writing something lively, maybe you'd prefer to write about writing something lively, as in "How I Wrote in a Lively Fashion on Thursday to Appease Kim Ripley."
Please post your lively writing to Gather Essentials: Writing. While I love reading what you submit via the comments section, I can't feature your comments. I can feature your submissions to Writing Essentials. And I look forward to doing just that!

But then there is the hope of spring!! Now that is something lively to think about.
