It's just snow flurries, but still, it's snow and I am in the South for pete's sakes. I can see it coming down while looking out the window without having my glasses on. So they're pretty big snowflakes.
It's pretty much melting as soon as it hits the ground because the ground temperature is still warm enough to melt it. However, I would bet the bridges and overpasses freeze tonight.
Ugh, I moved South to get away from this crap.
I think I'll wander out there and see if I can get any photos.

I'm sure it's hard to spend a lot of money on something you'll only use a couple of times a year, it's easier to just shut down the city.
Today is the first day for 5 days that we have not had snow. We are under a winter storm warning for tonight though. The snow is coming back.
actually we got flurries on Monday, it all melted in twenty minutes but I enjoyed it while it lasted. I guess that's our winter.
My laptop is booting. So I'll have photos shortly.
Laff all you want Greg. Remember I spent 23 years in PA. I just hate it when it snows here in Georgia cause people cannot drive in it. And the way the roads are wet, black ice is scary for evened the seasoned snow driver.
When I lived in Ellenwood, we got nailed with a snowstorm, then an unbelievable ice storm, then more snow. It was quite the deal. That was in the early to mid 1980s. More cars were in the ditches than on the road. The good ol' boys with pick up trucks equipped with winches were having a ball and raking in the dough.
And then
of course you have to go out and get pictures....jeeeeez... :- )
Snow is a rare occasion here in FL too.
