Come for a first walk with me today. We will take more in the days to come - this is just the beginning! I spent six days on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, up on the Panhandle. The sand is like icing sugar and the water is clear up close and stunning shades of blue farther out, depending on the time of day. Close by was a bay. We can walk.
First across a boardwalk that leads to a little half-island. The view is lovely!
This fellow is all alone...
View on the other side
Now you can see the narrow slice of beach - off with the shoes!
The water is crystal clear.
A jelly fish waits to be floated back out to sea.
I don't know what this is - the gulls were interested though...
All kinds of critters walk the beach!
Have a look at the water!
You can see right through.
Another strange critter...
A tiny plant with a big shadow in the middle of the sand.
Look up and enjoy...
FLORIDA SUNSHINE!

I love your photos and your commentary. Makes one feel that one is there.
The blue blue sky and the clear water is beautiful to see.
It was beautiful!

Thanks Bob - I go back and revisit with them - a nice beach is a great way to let go of stress...
Elaine, you are right!
Marianne - I wish I could swim in the ocean every day too!
Donna, yes, walking along the shore is my favorite way to exercise...
Yes Phyllis - I loved it!
