This is just a little savings report. I still haven't gotten a check that I've been expecting and that's really hurt us financially so I've been going over every ad that comes our way and matching up coupons the best I can.
I spent $8.15 at Foods Co Today and got:
10 Skippy Peanut Butters (they were on sale for $1.00 each. I had 5 coupons that were Save $1.00 on two so it came out to .50 cents each or buy one get one free depending on how you look at it)

2 Smucker's Grape Jelly (They were $1.00 each. I had two coupons for .35 cents off one so they came to .65 cents each)

2 clearance bags from the Bakery. They were selling Snoopy & King Kong rings that you stick into cupcakes and then the kids can wear them on their finger afterwards. I always make goody bags for class parties at my children's school so it will be enough for two classes. I'll be putting them in a bag only as a ring and not a cupcake topper. :) They were .68 cents a bag.

I didn't buy that much but it was worth the trip. We'll be eating a lot of peanut butter! With 3 boys, I don't see that being a problem.:) Plus it may be time for a batch of homemade peanut butter cookies.

That is so wonderful and
I love seeing the picture
of your peanut-butter eaters.
Cute.
You could make Thai peanut sauce, but I doubt your boys would like it.
;-)
Thank you for your comment on the grit tree.I hope you got a laugh!
Have a happy gather day!!!!!
Mix together powdered (confectioners sugar) butter and milk till you get a dough. Roll the dough out with rolling pin, spread peanut butter over the top of it, roll it up so the peanut butter "swirls" through and cut into slices. It is a very rich candy so we usually make smaller rolls. Good luck and have fun!
