I have to plan a Wedding!

Yes, you heard me right, I have to plan a wedding, whose wedding, mine!

My husband wants to re-marry me, about 4 years ago, he mentioned it to me but my husband is the kind of guy who says something and forgets what he says.  The end of last year he mentioned it to me again and then I knew he really wants to do this, all I could say to him is ok.....lol

Today we had breakfast and I talked with him again about it and to make sure this is what he wants to do and he said yes.  When we got married 15 years ago, we had a very small wedding at his grandmothers house and the reception at my mothers house, our entire family helped with everything, we had to pay for our marriage license and that was it.  Now he's talking about a wedding and I'm the kind of person who doesn't like attention brought to me, I like being unnoticed, that's just me.

My sister, another friend of mine and my nephews wife will help me and I'll start writing things down and we're planning our wedding for next year around our anniversary which is in January so, I'll keep everyone posted.

Congratulations!!

That title grabbed me...your daughters are too young to get married....That must be a wonderful feeling though...to remarry the same man after fifteen years. I want to see pictures and hear details. Don't leave us in the dark :)

Don said something similar to me a few weeks ago about going to Vegas and re-newing! I think he just wants to go to Vegas!! LOL! We had the huge wedding, got divorced, and re-married at the Justice of Peace-we've done it all already!!

Carolyn, that is so romantic! I know several people who have renewed their vows after several eyars of marriage, but usually the wives asked....It is wonderful that your husband thought of it...You're one lucky lady!

That's sweet, but only do what's comfortable for you. A celebration is exactly what an anniversary calls for. We used to take a vacation every year on our anniversary...until our kids started school. Now, we look forward to the time (a couple years from now) when they'll all be away at college in September when our anniversary rolls around.

That's so sweet! And should be fun! You only have to plan what you want to do. I have always thought getting to plan a wedding for myself would be fun b/c ours was more what my mom wanted than what we wanted. I don't regret it at all - my mom deserved that big celebration for her only daughter to get married. I just think it would be neat to do an anniversary renewal that would be completely our taste.
