Snow, snow and more snow

ok it has been white here for over a month.  I'm really over wanting a white Christmas and all, it could stop anytime now. it would really be ok with me.  I haven't seen my driveway in a month!  We got 5 inches last night and are getting another 3-4 today.  Really it could stop any time now....  PLEASE  (whine intended)

I haven't been on gather much lately because my heater was busted and it is WAY too cold in the basement (where the computer is) to be on it.  Finally got it fixed but  probably still won't be on too  much because it costs a fortune to heat the basement anyway. 

We also started selling girl scout cookies and you can't exactly go door to door in a foot of snow!!! what a pain that is gonna be!

I got  rooked into chairing the Scholastic book fair next month and I had NO idea how much of a pain that is gonna be.  If anyone has done this before and has any advice I'd appreciate it.

We're going to have a terrible time selling GS cookies this year. Mike can't take the sheet to work either.

It's sunny here where I am in Florida. I know how you feel about the snow...that is a lot of the reason that I moved down here.

I have never chaired an event like that, but I will keep it in prayer for you.

Welcome back! We were lucky to have some warm weather and rain storms to wash away some of our snow before the nor'easter hit on Monday and dumped a bunch more on us. We're supposed to get more Friday night I think.

I think Heidi is right. Snow is beautiful for a day. :-) We've been lucky here in Cincinnati this year. It snows, then warms up and melts the snow. Waits a few weeks, then repeats.

I love looking at the snow, but I'm so glad to be out of it's reach. Sounds like you are going to really be busy.

I still have the same snow as from Xmas sitting around but have had little new. The COLD?? Now THAT'S another story! lol Been dropping all day and winds are whipping! Below zero nights ahead! C):-)

I can imagine you are sick of snow by now. A little goes a long, long way. I hope the cookies aren't too difficult to sell. We buy them. I don't think the girls have too much trouble here, they set up in front of stores in groups. I think that's a good way to do it, especially when people know to expect you there, they can plan to buy the cookies when going to the store. Some years we couldn't find anyone who sold them. Now that was tough. But now they always go in front of the store. I hope we have good choices this year.
