Wow! What a Year!

I can hardly believe a year has past.  So much has happened to me since I joined this wonderful little community called, Gather!  I have met some extraordinary people; read some stimulating articles; have taken some awesome flights of fancy; and have gained many pounds in the form of friends!

I am grateful for this past year, and look forward to the next.  I look forward to meeting new people, and getting to know even better, the friends I have already connected with. What a blessing this community has been for me.  I have grown immensely as a writer.  I have sharpened my critiquing and editing skills.  I have finished my second novel; completed a novella; starting on a second, and have gained an agent with a reputable track record!

I am blessed in so many ways.  I have learned awesome things about other people and their lives (Thanks for sharing and adding to my growth and development).  I have gained so much wisdom and perspective.  I've gained encouragement and sound advice.  I have broaden my horizons in such a wonderful way.  And, I know I have to thank many of you: my gather community.  You definitely add spice to my flavor of life!

It doesn't really matter if we all agree with one another or not.  But, it is the respect for each one's individuality, and right to express themselves that is wonderful to see.  I may not have garnered as many points or connections as many other people may have--but I have gained some awesome friends and a wicked vocabulary!!!

In retrospect, I can't say that I would change much.  Because, the ride has been awfully sweet--even with the few bumps and critiques.  Nevertheless, I am thankful: to God, to you, and to every new friend that comes along!

Wow!  What a year!  And I am looking forward to so much more!
