For reasons that aren't entirely clear, I have started another blog. The main site is called www.Uber.com, a site for artistic expression in any medium, including music and the visual arts, and it contains some of my photographs and writing, though not much of either, yet.
I suppose I'm hoping to be freed from the tyranny of my two blogs with well-defined themes, literature and the environment: Nearly nothing but novels and Chemistry for a sustainable world. I actually enjoy those blogs a great deal, and through them have made many friends, from India to Australia to France to the UK, South Africa, and more.
The fiction site is devoted largely to fiction reviews, with a significant emphasis on crime fiction but plenty of other genres represented, including the occasional nonfiction interloper.
The environmental site is designed to help nontechnical readers navigate the rhetoric of conservation, climate change, alternative fuels and pollution prevention, and related topics. Ido slip in a more technical article on occasion.
I've had some great interactions with people here at Gather on energy and environmental issues, and lots of kind feedback on my photos. Interest in my book reviews has been rather muted within Gather, though it has gained some momentum very recently.
I hope to see you at one or more of the sites mentioned and linked to above, or at my various and gowing set of articles and images published on Gather itself.

I eat books so these will be invaluable in my quest to read everything interesting (to me) ever written!
Sharon, I hope I steer you to some good books and that the blog carnivals do, also. Your recommendations would be welcome!
John, they are running me ragged!
Morgan, I should be following your example.
