After three months the Minnesota Dept. of Health has warned 50 businesses about potential smoking violations. Read more about the ban.
Hasthe smoking ban been good for Minnesota? Has the ban helped to lowersmoking? Should the legislature rescind it? Share your comments.

People who choose to smoke, I end up smoking too by the second hand smoke.
Mike show the stats on "Alcohol causes far more social problems than tobacco ever could" -- mularkey. No doubt, alcohol ingestion goes up as both go hand in hand or is that hand to mouth.
Oh and Mac, freedom is when people are born with a cigarette or any other vice in their mouth. Not when when someone has taken the liberty, and my freedom away to live insult free, of imposing their "right." My human right is more important than their civil right. What an oxymoron, huh?!
My take -- smoking should also be banned in all vehicles. Otherwise, keep the windows rolled up to choke on their own cancer sticks.
Choke off your own in your home, too, just don't subject anyone else to your flagrant disregard for their health. Speaking of which, because I don't have any throat cancer, smoking should be banned in all open air spaces.
Long live prohibition - I love my clean air in all the places I go to.
