I have been loom knitting for just over a month and love it. I am finding that looming knitting is a fast growing (guess you would call it a craft/hobby) that has been around for centuries. I have joined several looming groups including one here on gather.com. There are many many people both men and women addicted to this form of knitting.
In fact I had my loom at work and one of the men walked in and said oh so and so used to do that at work. I did not know the man that he had mentioned but I was impressed with a man showing his looming in public.
More men should try Looming, knitting and crochet as most people that do it find it very relaxing.
Looming is very easy to do even if you can't knit or crochet. I have got my mom started on it and a friend from work. Trying to get my sis re-interested in it.
Here is a finished pic of the scarf I made. I have actually made several scarves, a hat, a dish cloth and slippers.
